The strong, welded frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy that is lightweight and durable—weighing 23.6 pounds. The padded, stain-resistant seat is soft and cushy, reclines up to 70 degrees from vertical, and has the standard five-point harness to provide maximum stability and comfort. The full sun canopy provides ample shade and protection from the elements for your little passenger. The canopy window allows you to keep an eye on baby as well. The suspension system sports three-inch coil springs with an elastomer core and two settings for bigger and smaller children, and it has 16-inch semi-slick, all-purpose rear tires and a 12.5-inch front tire. The wheel rims are constructed of high-impact composite polymer, and the hubs feature a quick release axle and cartridge bearings. The caliper handbrake slows the stroller with ease, while the foot-activated “parking brake” is simple and handy.
Storage is not a problem with twin interior seat pockets, a large below-seat storage basket, and a deep seatback pocket. The two-step fold can be done in one motion, and the lightweight frame makes it portable and stowable. Removing the wheels decreases the height and length when storing in tight spaces. The handlebar height is 41 inches, and the wheel base is 25.4 inches in swivel mode or 30.9 inches in jogging mode.

A team of researchers from The Cancer Center of the University of Minnesota detected cancer-causing compounds in the urine of babies who were in constant exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS).
This finding supports the concept that persistent exposure to ETS can contribute to the development of cancer later in life. They collected urine from 144 infants, aged 3 to 12 months, who lived in homes where at least one parent was a smoker.
Urine from 67 of these babies contained detectable amounts of 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanol (NNAL) and its O-glucuronide (NNAL-Gluc), which are by-products produced when the body processes NNK (4-(Methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-Pyridyl)-1-Butanone), a tobacco-specific potent carcinogen. NNAL is itself a lung carcinogen.
NNAL was detected in babies with family members who smoked an average of 76 cigarettes per week in the home or in the car. Where NNAL was not detected, family members smoked an average of 27 cigarettes per week.
